¡¡¡¡MJ-LJY Constant-pressure Eddy Water Purifier is a new purifying device with international advanced level, which is developed by us together with relevant technical personnel from Nanjing Tap Water General Company and professional engineer and technicians from relevant universities and colleges on a basis of our original PSF purifier through further technical innovation. In recent years, we have made technical innovations on our original PSF purifier according to the deterioration of water body in nature and customer¡¯s requirements to equipment operation & water supply automatization and developed MJ-LJY constant-pressure eddy water purifier with a double-ramp automatic cleaning device. There is no need for this MJ-LJY purifier to establish back-flush tank or back-flush water pump or there is no need to stop supplying water when back-flush to realize continuous water supply. Besides, ramp automatic cleaning device is added and drainage is improved, thus it greatly reduces consumption of human resource, extends useful life of the ramp, covers the shortage of other domestic purifiers, bridges over many disadvantages of ordinary purifiers like alum drop surfacing, filtering material gathered into a rounded mass, hard to control medicating, ramp jammed or sewage never entirely discharged, and applied for many state patents.

¡¡¡¡MJ-LJY constant-pressure eddy water purifier has such advantages as small floor space, little energy consumption, 24h continuous water supply, no water tower or back-flush tank and absolute drainage. It is the best choice for treatments of living water use in mining industry, rural town, medium-small sized enterprises & factories in city and barracks for troops as well as reclamation of industrial water use and circulating water.

¢ò. Principle & Process

¡¡¡¡Working principle of MJ-LJY constant-pressure eddy water purifier: there are often impurities including sediment, clay, humus and starch as well as organisms like algae in natural water. They are suspended, turbid, sol and macromolecule state and have a certain degree of stabilities, which may cause turbidity and color and other harmful functions to the water, so they should be purified. But it is difficult to eliminate these impurities in direct separation only like simple deposition or filtration, thus to add proper chemical agent in advance to agglutination and flocculation is often necessary.
¡¡¡¡MJ-LJY constant-pressure eddy water purifier is make adding chemical agent to coagulate, deposition, clarification and filtration connected together to purify the water body.
¡¡¡¡Force the water body into purifier with pump or other manners, add coagulant (if necessary, add disinfectant to eliminate algae and bacillus in the water body), water and coagulant contact and impact repeatedly in catalyst case of the purifier to take coagulation and reaction. When floccules generated approach a certain volume and form alum drops, a part of the alum drops with larger volume deposit down to the bottom of the equipment under the influence of gravity; while the others with smaller volume float upwards with the current, which are retained by multilayer combinatorial ramps in the equipment. And then water comes out and goes to sand bed filtration area, which is divided into 4 or 8 parts according to volumes of the equipment. Water out from the sand bed filtration area goes to pure water area and finally discharged through outlet conduit.
¡¡¡¡If back-flush is required by the equipment, there¡¯s no need for multiple sand bed filtration areas to stop at the same time but do back-flush in turn, so continuous water supply is realized.

¡¡¡¡To the water body with a raw water turbidity lower than 500mg/L, regular MJ-LJY constant-pressure eddy water purifier guarantee a water yield under 5mg/L; while to the water body with a higher raw water turbidity, design a new equipment as per practical situation and user¡¯s requirements in order to ensure water quality meet user¡¯s requirements.

¢ô. Instructions on Installation, Debugging & Operation
1. Installation of Engineering Facilities
¡¡(1). Check the delivered equipment body and specifications and quantities of supporting accessories according to commercial invoice
¡¡(2).To make this equipment have even water exit, coagulation, deposition, clarification and filtration must satisfy technical requirements, and equipment must be calibrated stable with an error no more than 10mm to make the equipment evenly and stably run. The buyer establishes basic facilities of the equipment according to relative operating data from the supplier, and casts leveled concrete floor with an error no more than 10mm.
¡¡(3). Hoist and install the necessary equipment into position according to floor plan of technical process and position fixed by engineering location. Forbid collision, drop or damage when hoisting and installation to prevent poor running or influence water quality. Hoisting and installation of the equipment must be done at sustained center. Forbid to make conduit valve as the sustained center of steel wire rope to avoid conduit displacement, obstructed water flow or water leakage so as to influence water quality.
¡¡(4). After hoisting and installation in position, install all water pump units. Connect conduits of water pumps and purifiers and install valves, pressure gauges according to technical requirements. Valves must be installed at places easy for operation, and pressure gauges must be installed at places easy for observation. Besides, install filtering materials according to design index and specifications of the filtering materials and then fill and level up the materials.
¡¡(5). After the installation of all conduits and valves, make pressure test and check if there is leakage. Make pressure test as sequence of water entry, when hydraulic pressure reaches 1.25 times of the working pressure, then check if there is leakage. If so, make a mark and eliminate in time. After repair the leak, make pressure test in 24 hours till no leakage occurs any longer.
¡¡(6). There should be no jam or gas leakage on conduits of coagulant (disinfectant) injection device and water pump diversion device. Because coagulant (disinfectant) injection device should adjust the quantity, its inlet valve can¡¯t use break valve but gate valve.

Debugging of Water Purifier
¡¡(1). After the installation of the equipment and conduits, mix coagulant (disinfectant) liquid and then debug.
¡¡(2). Select different debugging ways according to quality of raw water from client. If quality of raw water is poor, directly supply water and adjust quantity of medical agent injected according to the water yield. After the water becomes clear, sample for test till water achieves the requirements for company use.
¡¡(3). If quality of raw water from the client is good, debug in the following manner: as coagulation and deposition reactions are slowly when quality of raw water is good, it is necessary to increase the quantity of chemical agent and reaction time. Reduce quantity of water inflow and increase quantity of chemical agent, and then stop water entry, place static for half an hour and observe reaction of alum drops through sight glass. When the alum drops are agglomerated and deposited extensively, start water entry slowly, reduce the quantity of chemical agent and adjust according to actual situation of water entry. When water coming out is clear, sample for test till water achieves the requirements for company use.
¡¡(4). After the above processes become stable, control the quantity of water inflow and make it satisfy design discharge. Adjust inlet valve of coagulant injection device to guarantee a proper quantity (adjust according to actual situation of alum drops). Sample pure water for test till it achieves the standards for company use. Then close prime filtration draining valve, open pure water valve and debugging is completed

Operation of Water Purifier
¡¡(1). After finishing the installation and debugging of purifier, it can be launched into running. When the purifier is running, sample for analyzing and testing turbidities of raw water, clarified water and pure water every 2 hours; adjust quantity of coagulant and disinfectant to be injected according to the variations of their turbidities; and make records.
¡¡(2).To improve start-up of water pump, water manually.
¡¡(3). Coagulant is usually injected before pump, its quantity depends on the quality and quantity of water and is adjustable at any time according to variations on the quantity and quality of water. If special situation occurs and coagulant should be injected after pump, then design a new pump otherwise.
¡¡(4). Regularly eliminate mud residue according to turbidity of raw material and quantity of mud residue in reflux area. Open bottom blow-off valve and discharge for 1-3 minutes and then close the valve. Generally cycle for blow-off is 6-8 hours but it is adjustable according to actual situations.
¡¡(5). When water yield turbidity of the purifier exceeds the standard for company use, do back-flush to the equipment (no need to stop the purifier). As there are 4-8 sand bed filtration areas in this purifier, all areas should do back-flush in turn. When back-flush, close water inlet valve of the sand bed to be done back-flush, open the draining valve in this area, make the water above the sand bed filtration area discharged through draining valve in principles of siphon, form a vacuum belt above the sand bed, cause a larger differential pressure between the upper and lower part of the sand bed filtration area to make water in pure water area pass through the sand bed conversely in order to rinse the sand bed and make dirt discharged outside the equipment as water flow till water yield is clear. Then back-flush is finished. Close draining valve, open inlet valve of the sand bed and start running. Back-flush in other sand bed filtration areas are the same. As back-flush of all sand bed filtration areas are done in turn, one is stopped while others are still working, thus continuous water supply is guaranteed.
¡¡(6). When this purifier stops running for less than 24 hours, directly start up for running. If it stops running for over 24 hours, first open the emptying valve to remove part aged mud residues and then run. After the quantity of activated mud residues increases up to a normal value, then run.

¢õ. Notices
¡¡1. Quantity of water inflow is controlled under design discharge. If the quantity exceeds the design discharge, alum drops may float upwards, turbidity of clarified water increased and water quality may be affected.
¡¡2. When rainy days or other special circumstances which may cause sudden change on turbidity of raw water, adjust back-flush time and cycle of the purifier in order to make water yield achieve the standards for company use.
¡¡3. If quantity of coagulant is too large, the alum drops are loose and float upwards; while if its quantity is too small, the alum drops are thin, water quality becomes turbid and thickness of mud residue becomes low.
¡¡4. Disinfectant injection device must be sealed. Quantity of chemical agent every time can¡¯t be too much or its volatilization may invalidate so as to influence the water quality.
¡¡5. After the equipment runs for a period of time, maintain as the following steps:
¡¡¡¡¢Ù Check seal, balance and noise of pump, if any abnormities, repair immediately;
¡¡¡¡¢Ú Checks if all screws at connection positions and back-flush devices inside the equipment are loose, if so, screw down in time;
¡¡¡¡¢Û Check if hose for chemical agent injection is bent, avoid conduit jam so as to affect the quantity of chemical agent to be injected.
