| Degasifying tower |
It is designed aiming to remove CO2 in the water during ion exchanging so as to reduce load of anion exchanger and improve water quality as well. Water containing CO2 is mechaincally driven to form mist or drop inside the tower in up-down sequence, and it flows through filler layer while air reversely contact with water. According to Henry Principle, by reducing pressure of CO2 on the water surface so that CO2 in the water can be removed. When CO2 content in the water is more than 50mg/L, it is rational and economic to use degasifying tower in preliminary desalting system. After treatment in degasifying tower, residual CO2 in water will be approximately 5-10mg/L.
