Decanter is one of the most critical mechanical equipment in SBR process . There are several types of decanters, but revolving water decanter is the most commonly used. In SBR process, decanter is used to discharge clarified water regularly. It is able to decant water from a stationary surface without disturbing the sediment.
Decanter consists of decanter device, gear, skimming device and slewing ring buoys and other components. Under the force of the driving gear, the decanter weir do variable-speed circular motion downwards. In this process, the clarified water will enter the branch pipe and the the main pipe of the decanter. When decanting is finished, the decanter weir will do uniform circular motion upwards, making the decanter weir return to standby mode. When water inlet, biochemical reaction, precipitation and other processes were completed, the next process can start.
