Usage
Swirl grit chamber is mainly used for the pretreatment process in sewage treatment plant ( station ), for removing larger inorganic particles in sewage with the process before the primary sedimentation tank and after the bar screens.
Feature
Mainly by mechanical rotating of the impeller, to control the flow velocity and flow regime so as to accelerate sedimentation the sand along the wall of the pool in spiral line by the centrifugal force and gravity. At the same time, organic matter drift away by the flow action of water. Grit that sank down at the bottom lifted by air pump with a small amount of sewage goes to the sand-water separator discharged after separation. The washing water returned to the grill well to achieve the purpose of grit removal.
Grit removal system includes swirl grit chamber, sand-water separator, air blower or sand suction pump.
Order Description:
1.Please mark the capacity and depth of the equipment.
2.Please mark the material of the equipment(carbon steel or stainless steel).
3. This system excluded pipeline, valve, flowmeter, please specify if needed.
4. Flanges of this equipment are made according to JB/T81-94, PN0.6
5. Model No. XLC180～XLC1080 can be made of steel. If needed non-standard flow grit chamber, please provide Civil construct drawing for customized equipment if model No. is bigger than XLC1080.
