
The raw water in the central driving sludge scraper flows radially towards the surrounding overflow groove after been distributed by water distributor. With the decrease of the flow rate, the suspended solids in water is separated and settles at the bottom. While the supernatant goes through overflow weir and is then discharged out of the tank by outlet groove.
Through deceleration drive and transmission of hanging type components, sludge is scraped and collected to central sludge collecting groove, and then discharged out of the tank by hydrostatic pressure or pump. The application of central water inlet and sludge discharge together with peripheral water drainage ensures the even flow of water. It takes advantage of water level difference for self-priming sludge discharge. It is equipped with scum scraping and discharging deviceas well as overload protection device.
