MC-TQ degassing tower is used to remove carbon dioxide in the water during the course of ion exchange in water treatment, so as to reduce the load of anion exchanger and lift the economy and output water quality of the water treatment system.
Carbon dioxide degassing tower mainly adopts mechanical method to make the water that contains carbon dioxide form into mist or little water drops from up to down in the tower. Then it flows through the packing layer. The air contacts water in reverse direction from down to up. According to Henry Law, we can remove carbon dioxide by reducing the sub-pressure of carbon dioxide on the water surface.
When the content of carbon dioxide (alkalinity) in the raw water is more than 50mg/l, it is more reasonable and economical to set carbon dioxide degassing tower in first combined bed desalination system. After treatment, the remaining carbon dioxide in the water is 5~10mg/l.
